The Dinner Party, the iconic feminist artwork by Judy Chicago, features a sacred gathering of women from history. They include human women who walked this earth and made significant contributions, as well as goddesses, divine mothers, saints, and mythical heroines.

Enheduanna is there!

There are 39 plate settings, divided into the three distinct sides of the table that form the triangle, and there are 999 names written under the table and all over the tiles. A visitor immediately feels they are in the presence of some of the most important history-makers of all time. Enheduanna, author and priestess of Inanna/Ishtar, is honored for her important role in civilization.
